The PTA mission is threefold:
- To support and speak on behalf of children and youth in the schools, in the community, and before governmental bodies and other organizations that make decisions affecting children;
- To assist parents in developing the skills they need to raise and protect their children;and
- To encourage parent and public involvement in the public schools of this nation.

- To secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth.
- To raise the standards of home life.
- To bring into closer relation the home and the school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth.
- To develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, social, and spiritual education.

The PTA membership dues collected helps students at Allen Avenue. Some programs PTA provides are: first day folders, money for field trips buses, books and reading supplies, technology support, Red Ribbon Week, Walk to School Day, 5th grade end of the year party, Family Fun Night events, the newsletter publication, and the Art Expo Program. Thank you to all of those help support PTA.

PTA continues to collect soup and box tops. Please cut those box tops labels off from your favorite products and turn them in to your child's teacher or the school office.

Please respect the traffic rules in front of the school .
DO NOT double park to let off your children drop off in the red zone
DO NOT drive through the school parking lot
DO NOT let you child walk through the parking lot
DON'T park in the drop off zone, it really slows down the traffic pattern. We can get our children to school safely and efficiently. Remember that children learn a lot from watching us. Thanks.
